Sapana workshops

[for NGO’s]

Do you work with children or have children in your care? Would you like to develop their love of learning and help them get fit, burn some energy and have fun? Sapana workshops provide a unique space to nurture children and provide a safe and supportive environment for physical and creative activities.

Circus Kathmandu invite NGO’s and INGO’s to bring children to participate in Sapana circus arts workshops.

Workshops are available on Saturdays and Sundays (by request)
between 10am – 4pm.
Workshop duration: 60-120 min
Cost: 1500NPR for 10 children

Kids Club

Designed for ages 5-7 & 8‐13 years

Circus Kathmandu’s classes for children and youth are extremely popular. Younger students participate in fun, friendly classes including gymnastics, movement, juggling and basic aerial such as trapeze. Older students are nurtured to develop physical and mental skills, focusing on acrobatics, aerial and performance. All students are encouraged to help and support each other.

Time: Sundays 11-11.45/12.15 & 2‐3.15pm.
Maximum participants: 16
Cost: 3000 NPR for 10 weeks / 500NPR single class / 1500NPR per
child for 4 classes

Behind the scenes

Experience the magic behind our shows and try your hand at circus skills like juggling, hula and aerial silks! Cost £100 – £200 plus £5pp including food & beverage. Max 35 places. Duration 1-2 hours. Please contact us to vary details including the length or refreshment provisions for the workshop.

Circus skills can be an educational tool to develop creativity, encourage positive physical, social and personal skills, and improve academic results!

We work in partnership with schools to respond to the diverse needs and energy of students through long-term residencies or short-term projects. Would you like help teaching PE through circus, or as an after-school club? Or to create a physical and dramatic storytelling performance or offer fun, inclusive, physical, well-being and creative classes? Circus Kathmandu can tailor workshops to suit any requirement.

Duration: We will fit to your class timetable – min 45 minutes.
Time: Monday – Saturday 9am – 4pm.

Corporate team building

Our teambuilding workshops are perfect for groups to have fun, invigorate their energy and enhance communication in the workplace.

Try out trapeze or hula-hooping, juggling, stilt walking or acrobatics – your team will try exciting circus skills to challenge and inspire and get them working together.

Circus Kathmandu can create special workshops to cater for children, young adults and communities with varying needs and abilities. From working with the Spinal Injuries Hospital to Indigenous children in outback Australia, or working alongside NGO’s to design bespoke workshops on ethical recruitment, women’s health or other social issues our circus artists and advocates provide a unique communication tool and effective engagement for everyone.
